We come out after the snow stops

On a seasonal contract you don't have to call. Once the snowfall ends we work the route, plow the driveway, shovel the walk and steps by hand, and salt what we've cleared.

You get out the door

Driveway cleared to the edges, the city windrow broken open, walk and steps down to the surface and salted. Per-visit customers pay after each storm, seasonal customers are already covered.

A seasonal contract is one price for the whole winter, and we come out automatically after every snowfall without you calling. Per visit means you pay each time we come, which suits people who only want the big storms handled. Seasonal customers get cleared first.

Do you shovel walkways and steps, or only plow?

Both. The driveway gets plowed and the walkway, front steps and porch get cleared by hand or snow blower, because a plow can't get near them safely. Steps and walks are where people actually slip, so they're part of the job rather than an add-on.

Do you salt as well as clear the snow?

Yes. Salting is its own line on the quote, so you can have it on the driveway, on the walk and steps, or on everything. What's left after clearing is a thin film of packed snow, and that's what turns to ice overnight if it isn't salted.

Are you available 24/7 during a storm?

Yes — our phones and dispatch run 24/7 through an active storm, so you can always reach us. For most residential routes we still wait until the snowfall lets up before plowing, since clearing mid-storm just means doing the job twice for the same money. If you need round-the-clock or emergency clearing specifically, say so when you book and we'll flag the address for priority, storm-long service.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. Seniors get 5% off snow removal, because keeping our older neighbours safe on the ice matters to us. Mention it when you call or add a note on the quote form and it's applied to your price.

When should I book snow removal for the winter?

Before the first storm. Routes are built around where properties sit, and once a route is full we can't add to it without slowing everyone already on it. Late fall is the right time to call — mid-storm is the worst.

Do I need to call you every time it snows?

Not on a seasonal contract. We watch the forecast and work the route once the snowfall stops, so your driveway gets done whether you're home, away or asleep. Per-visit customers do call or text us each time.

How soon after a snowfall do you come?

We start once the snow stops falling, and work the route from there. Clearing mid-storm just means doing it twice. For a normal London snowfall that means your driveway is done the same day, and overnight storms are cleared in the morning.

Can you clear the ridge the city plow leaves at the end of my driveway?

Yes, and it's part of the job. The windrow the city plow throws across your driveway entrance is heavy, compacted and the reason a lot of people get stuck. We break it up and clear it rather than leaving it for you.

Do you do single-car and multiple-car driveways?

Both, and it's the first thing we ask when quoting. A single-car driveway is a quick pass, while a multiple-car or double-wide driveway takes more time and somewhere to put the snow. The price follows the size, so tell us which one you've got.

Do you do commercial snow removal too?

We do, and it's quoted separately from residential work. Parking lots, storefront sidewalks and entrances have different timing, liability and salting needs, so they have their own page and their own quote form.

What if I have a tight driveway or a low car?

Tell us when you book. Narrow driveways, low overhangs, gravel surfaces and cars that can't be moved all change how we clear a property, and it's a lot easier to plan for on the quote than to discover at 6 AM in a snowstorm.
